Our client is a large, well known and much loved not for profit organisation based in the city's CBD.
The newly created role of Digital Delivery Manager is a pivotal role  that will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation  optimises the use of digital technologies, the relevant architecture and  their integration into existing enterprise systems.
This role will be responsible for executing the organisational digital strategy as well as managing a small team of Solutions and Technical Architects.

Executing on a strategy  that will create a digital vision for the enterprise, you will be a thought leader  who can identify  opportunities for differentiating digital offerings  and solutions for clients, supporters, volunteers and members .
Your role will start with assessing the current digital capabilities and expanding them to provide a better user experience  across a number of channels including web, mobile  as well as how the organisation interacts  with its wide and varied audience.
You will also be an Agile champion who adopts a pragmatic approach to its adoption  and will be working closely with the other operational teams  to transition projects into production and operationalise the digital systems.

You will be able to articulate how the technology and architecture of the digital solution integrates with enterprise systems and improve the speed of delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Executing the digital vision for the enterprise 
  • Assess external digital opportunities and threats 
  • Lead the continuous development  of the digital strategy and roadmap
  • Lead the technology planning  to achieve business goals  - this will include architecture, infrastructure and integration
  • Act as the primary liaison  for the digital technology vision 
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Team set up and management
  • Introducing Agile practices
In order to qualify for this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with an organisation  at the forefront of Digital innovation and improved User experience.
You will also have substantial experience  with web and  mobile apps and their development and support  as well as excellent understanding of human centred design and Agile development practices, not to mention outstanding communication skills and budget management skills.
