The CIAM Technical Lead will work with technical and project teams, and operations staff (e.g. IT/security) to execute a strategic enterprise-wide technical development program for CIAM across brands and platforms. This person will be responsible for supervising technical tasks, timelines, and resources. 

Specific tasks and outcomes for this role include:

Leading the development team.
Ensuring development processes are adhered to - full SDLC.
Lead the benchmarking for code quality and assist in the code reviews session and be hands on in development.
Provide an ongoing mentoring and training of team members to assist in the improvement of business and SDLC processes.
Incorporate iteration management in the development process.
Build strong ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Report on the effectiveness of current technical solution and make recommendations for improvements.
Work alongside technical solution architects and assist with the analysis, design and deployment of CIAM architecture; proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues in consultation with project manager(s) and other resources. Of particular importance, is to leverage out-of-the box capabilities and features offered by the CIAM product, and identify opportunities to maximise value from the product while minimising total cost of ownership


The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of CIAM concepts and processes, recent experience in implementing software platforms, and has exceptionally strong communications and consensus-building skills. Direct familiarity with the GIGYA platform or other comparable platforms, mature consultative and communications skills, and ability to lead and inspire others are also highly desirable attributes. 

Specific requirements for this role include:

Thorough knowledge of Customer Identity and Access Management, ideally having experience with the GIGYA platform.
Familiarity with financial services and/or retail sectors.
Experience with user interface design, user journey flows, and best practices in end-user experience design within the B2C digital context.
Sound and proven experience in both project and agile based execution.
Knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles, as a means of relating business needs to customer identity and access controls.
Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills to work with business partners/stakeholders and achieve agreed outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team and work as part of a team, including experience supervising and directing the work of others.
Strong customer/client focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately, to provide a superior customer/client experience.
