Our client is a well-established IT services organisation  that has experienced stellar growth has a track record of superior customer service.

Based in their Sydney office, on the northern side of the bridge, the Channel Manager role is a newly created role that will be responsible for growing their channel business (resellers and distributors) across the Eastern Seaboard.

Working alongside an established channel team covering the Southern Seaboard, the Channel Manager will be responsible for developing new channel opportunities, recruiting  and managing new partners, driving growth through strategic account management and leading bids and opportunities within such portfolio.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to grow the reseller and distribution  base, as well as managing  billing, contracts, reporting, SLA's and  pursuing operational improvements.

Needless to say, you will be developing strong relationships with the Channel and will participate  in their functions/events and will be  engaging technical resources as appropriate.

Your activities will be supported by a well-established marketing and lead generation team as well as many targeted advertising campaigns and social media campaigns.

We are looking for an experienced individual with proven experience in:

  • Selling through the channel within IT services  (hardware maintenance, Backup as-a-service, Security-as-a-service etc)
  • Experience with indirect sales within the SME space
  • Tenacity, high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Great interpersonal skills 
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Leadership qualities
  • Solid track record of sales overachievement

This role offers a generous base salary  as well as a very attractive and uncapped commission plan.
