If you want to see regional and rural Australia and combine that with your love of all things IT, then this is role for you.

Working for one of Australia's largest Agribusinesses, you'll be responsible for travelling to a large proportion of their 500+ sites to review and document the existing IT infrastructure.  Depending on what you find you may need to update their router, internet connection  and onsite network, connect up to new peripherals and PC's, install new switches and phones and decommission old equipment.

In reality you'll be travelling on average about 3-4 days per week.  This is everywhere from Bathurst to Broken Hill and beyond.  So if you're a home body or have commitments that mean you can't be away from Sydney for days on end, then this is NOT the role for you.

To be considered for the role you'll need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:
  • strong general knowledge of IT - Networks, PC's, Peripherals, setting up new internet connections etc
  • self motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • the ability to travel
  • a valid drivers licence
  • be able to build relationships with new people quickly
As a reward for all your hard work and travel, the role will pay a daily rate of $60-65/hr including super.

To be considered and to find out more, please send a word version of your resume to Bob Wallace.
