As one of Australia's premiere cloud service and managed service providers, they are a one stop shop for all things cloud, both public (AWS/Azure) & private, data centres and storage.  As a result of increased customer demand, there is a need for a Capacity Planner who can look after this function and all associated reporting.
The role will see you:
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive capacity management planning process across managed services, taking into account current and new requirements, including all software licensing.
  • Implement tools that allow for the effective monitoring/trending of IT Infrastructure, Software and IT component’s performance and resource utilisation
  • Continually monitor IT resource usage and promptly identify capacity issues
  • Provide trending information to allow for forecasting future capacity requirements
  • Provide reports and conduct presentations to senior management
You will bring to the role:
  • Previous experience in Capacity Management gained ideally in a services organisation
  • An innovative approach, the ability to think outside of the box, make improvements and suggest change
  • Ability to draw information from a variety of sources to create reports for management, resulting in accurately predicting and accommodating what the client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, a consultative approach and a “get up and go” attitude.
