The Company
This IT Managed Service Provider is growing at a rate that most businesses can only dream of.  Their key area of focus and growth is in Cloud services.  They provide a full range of services to their customers from scoping the existing infrastructure and applications environment, through to providing a real time dashboard that the customer can use to view usage and performance across a range of public and private clouds.  More than your standard human-free cloud non service providers!

The role

The role of BDM will be responsible for identifying, consulting to and acquiring new customers to take up cloud or other managed service offerings.  As part of the role you'll be supported by the technical pre-sales specialists, but it's expected that you'll have a relatively deep technical understanding of Cloud and general IT solutions, which you can use to help differentiate your solution to ensure is stands ahead of any competitors.

You'll have
  • Extensive success in selling Cloud (both Private and Public) or SaaS as well as Managed Service offerings
  • A great network across Melbourne and be able to open doors to opportunities
  • A reputation as an over achiever who won't settle for less than 100%
  • A track record dealing with C-Level stakeholders in the industry
  • An understanding of customers business challenges and be able to structure IT solutions to address these
  • Knowledge of competitor products - know when your offering is not going to fit and you should walk away.
  • Great interpersonal skills - you must be able to inspire and bring together internal resources as a team to support the customer
  • Finesse and style to lead our organisation through the exciting change and growth opportunities that exist
Salary on offer
OTE of $400k+++.  The commission is uncapped and the targets are very reasonable.  Parking is provided along with car leasing options.
