Prestigious managed Cloud Service Provider needs an Azure Product Manager to help bring a new offering to the marketplace. He/She will have a successful track record of bringing Cloud products into the marketplace as well as managing product roadmaps and lifecycles. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Deliver and iterate a proposed product’s initial market analysis and cost model.
  • Create an initial product business case.
  • Manage the P&L for one or more products.
  • Provide hands-on, detailed project management, leading delivery teams to agreed outcomes.
  • Work with customers to achieve strong customer satisfaction outcomes on-time and on budget.
  • Design tests to validate hypotheses and assumptions about new product features.
  • Conceive and implement ways to increase product profitability.
  • Gather market data on key Cloud product trends and help create presentation packs on new products.
  • Support product development governance by adhering to product delivery methodologies and practices.
  • Manage all aspects of product life cycles including completion of a product’s transition into steady state, ensuring relevant teams provide technical support for new products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MBA, Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience in a technology-based corporation
  • 5+ years of technology marketing and product management experience, with a product background including Cloud/XaaS architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, mobile technology, and emerging trends in data centre and cloud compute, storage, and data centre networking technologies.
  • Ability to take abstract technical and business concepts and drive them into a successful product framework.
  • Ownership over Azure product, guiding an idea from its infancy through the typical product development cycle and towards market adoption.
  • Exhibit perceptive customer focus, designing great user experiences and attractive offers that lead to sales.
