Based on the lower north shore, this global financial services company is undergoing rapid transformation. They have an expanding Production Support team to manage all tickets and oversee issues through to resolution.

The business deals with hundreds of millions of transactions per day and issues range from application, database, operating system, network and hardware problems.  Your role will be to identify appropriate fixes or write SQL scripts to resolve an issue; however a key component will be root cause analysis. The role will see you being responsible for: Platform Stability; Root Cause Analysis and Documentation; Manage Production Fixes and Project Release Support. 
Much of the responsibility for the role with involves collaboration with other teams including developers, DBAs, vendors as well as non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Networking tools such as DNS, DMZ, F5, Technical Architecture Diagram, IIS, Certificate Management, along with Java, PostgresSQL, BIG Data/Cloud, Splunk, Cloud Foundry, while any experience with ALM, File Transfer Protocols or Agile Development will all be treated as a plus.
  
You will also present with previous experience working in a Production Support environment, preferably having worked in the Online space.
