Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Network Engineer to implement, manage, and support diverse IT environments for our valued customers. If you're passionate about network engineering and eager to drive impactful projects, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, implement, and deploy complex network solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure seamless technical execution.
  • Develop comprehensive technical change requests, migration, and test plans.
  • Support Project Managers in managing project scope and mitigating risks.
  • Create detailed as-built and handover documentation for smooth transitions to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to execute technical changes effectively.

 

Main Activities:

 

  • Deliver high-quality technical solutions on time for both new and existing customers.
  • Provide ongoing support and consultancy for implemented customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with Pre-sales teams to develop project scopes and estimates.
  • Manage changes and outages in customer environments following Change Management Guidelines.
  • Engage with key vendors to offer up-to-date technical advice to internal teams.
  • Provide support to existing Managed Services customers as needed.

 

Key Skills:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, focusing on network engineering.
  • Current CCNP or higher-level certification(s) in Routing & Switching, Voice, Data Centre, or Security.
  • Proficiency in Cisco technologies; knowledge of Juniper, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, or Palo Alto is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Cisco ASA, Firepower, ISR, Catalyst, Nexus, and WLC products.
  • Strong time management and communication skills; ability to self-manage.
  • Expertise in Telco/ISP WAN services, LAN/WiFi, Firewall Security, and Data Centre operations.
  • Knowledge of key networking protocols (iBGP, eBGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN, IPSEC, Spanning Tree).
  • Understanding of Project and Change Management methodologies.
  • Strong learning aptitude for new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and executive staff.
  • Capable of providing accurate budget and schedule estimates.
  • Eligibility for ASIC RED card clearance.
